Description " ADDITIONAL ELEMENT TO ARRANGE ON A GROUND FLOOR " The invention relates to an additional element for placing on a threshold. The invention also relates to a threshold with such an additional element.
Thresholds are known. In particular, they serve to separate an interior of a building from an exterior or two spaces in the floor area, the floor sill the space between the bottom edge of a wing of a window or door and the floor sill in the closed state in cooperation with at least one seal or seal arrangement seals. The sleepers described here are characterized in particular in that they are designed as barrier-free sleepers that rise only to an extremely small extent on the finished floor of a building. Such barrier-free transitions are particularly in hospitals, nursing homes but also in residential areas that are designed to be barrier-free to use.
A problem with such thresholds is to arrange certain additional or additional elements so that also a barrier-free transition is guaranteed, that is, that the subsequent installation or installation of certain supplementary elements to the building does not create a barrier that contradict the statutory provisions, or the provisions of the DIN standard. Such a problem exists, for example, when insect screens, insect screens, insect screen doors, awnings, shutters or the like are to be used on an existing window or even in the new building on a window or a French window. Of course, the same problem exists if, for example, house entrance doors are to be provided with such insect protection.
The same applies to sun protection, awnings, shutters or the like. Here, not the roller shutter running rails are meant that run laterally on the window or on the door element, but final rails, which are arranged for example on the ground to ensure a tight seal. Of course, such end strips or guide rails can usually subsequently only attach so that they are placed on the floor or it is on site very complex work necessary to arrange such a guide rail or bar. For example, a tile, concrete or stone floor would have to receive a corresponding depression, which is very difficult with elaborate milling or caulking work. The same is of course also necessary with corresponding wooden terraces. There must be introduced, for example, with a corresponding special milling a corresponding groove.
Based on this prior art, it is an object of the invention to propose a solution in which at least one of the disadvantages mentioned, as described above, no longer occurs.
The invention is based on the prior art, as described above, and proposes to solve the problem an additional element for placing on a threshold, wherein the additional element has a first interface for connection to the threshold and a second Interface for attaching a broadening profile, a supplementary element or a grate receiving and wherein on the additional element a molding is provided that serves as a guide or bottom closure for insect screens, insect screen doors, sun blinds, awnings, shutters or the like. With this solution, it is now possible to provide on the additional element a molded part, for example a guide for an insect screen, an insect screen door or a sun blind, an awning or a roller shutter or the like. The moldings in question are in their dimensions so that walkers, wheelchairs or hospital beds or other aids can easily roll over there without them jamming or snagging there. The advantage of the solution according to the invention continues to be that not only an interface for attachment to the threshold itself is provided on the additional element, but also a second interface and indeed for the attachment of a widening profile, a supplementary element or a grate holder. Widening profiles are regularly required for buildings that already have improved thermal insulation in the floor area. This is thought of so-called energy-saving houses, where it is necessary to provide such an insulation in the floor area and outside to the inside, so that here a lowest possible heat transfer can take place. By arranging the additional element, for example without an additional interface for arranging such a broadening, which covers such an insulation as described, a solution would be conceivable only here, which is associated with relatively large manual effort and in particular the required barrier-free transitions not can ensure as required. By providing a first interface to the additional element for connection to the threshold and a second interface for attaching the widening profile or other supplementary elements a problem-free barrier-free transition is now guaranteed. In addition, the insulation can be easily arranged below the broadening and the additional element. Thereafter, new buildings or old buildings where appropriate door or window elements are to be replaced, can now be equipped accordingly, so that really barrier-free transitions that meet all requirements, in particular the DIN standard, arise here.
An advantageous development of the invention provides that the additional element as described above is characterized in that the molding is releasably fastened to the additional element or is integrally formed on the additional element. Accordingly, the invention comprises at least two variants, according to which a corresponding molded part is supplied, for example, by a special supplier and is fastened releasably fixed to the additional element. The attachment can be done by normal screwing as well, such as by gluing or clipping. However, it is particularly preferred if the molding is integrally formed on the additional element. That is, it is already provided in the manufacturing process of extrusion for the additional element equal to at the additional element. Thus, the additional element with the molding of course can produce very cheap, because it is made with the same in the production of the additional element. Accordingly, it is necessary to provide molds suitable for the extrusion molding in order to provide different mold parts in each case as required on the additional element according to the invention.
Preferably, the additional element of light metal, in particular made of aluminum and in turn preferably produced by extrusion. The extrusion process is used in particular to produce, for example, certain profiles of light metal, for example aluminum.
An aspect of the invention provides that the first interface is formed by a sloping downwards in the installed position carrier, which carries a pin which can be pivoted into a mating interface on the ground sill, in particular clipped. The carrier is therefore designed sloping sloping downwards, because so that the height difference is compensated, which is necessary in order not to let the molding protrude above the level of the soil. The pin is in turn intended to be able to engage in the mating interface at the threshold. As already mentioned, it is advantageous if the upper position of the molded part in the installed position terminates at the same altitude as the threshold, in order to ensure a barrier-free transition. Since the moldings of the type in question are of their depth or width are not so wide that a wheel of a rollator or a wheelchair or hospital bed could get stuck in it, so it is only necessary to maintain the same altitude. A small groove is easily overcome by a wheel as, for example, a U-shaped U-rail as a guide element that protrudes from the ground.
The molding is advantageously designed as a U-shaped guide, as a trough, as a rail and in particular as a profile, wherein preferably the molded part is provided in the additional element inserted, clamped or clipped. Of course, a normal screwing, here for example with so-called countersunk screws provided. The invention includes all these possibilities. Sticking by means of cold or hot glue or with Mehrfachkomponentenkleber is encompassed by the invention.
As already mentioned, a second interface is provided on the additional element, which is formed for example of a lower leg, an upper leg and a connecting leg, the side, or in section considered a U-shaped receptacle for insertion of a widening profile or another Form supplementary element with a corresponding mating interface. The supplementary elements may be, for example, rust covers that cover a water drainage channel or, as already described above, simple widening profiles that cover an additional thermal barrier coating, for example, in front of the building exterior wall. Again, it is important that the upper leg of this second interface terminates at the same altitude as the ground sill or the molding, as already described.
It is advantageous, further, if a fastening groove for fixing a height adjustment device is provided on the additional element. This mounting groove is of course arranged on the side facing the ground in the installed position. For example, a nut may be guided in the groove, into which a threaded bolt of the height adjustment device engages. Below the groove, a further nut is advantageously provided, which serves as a lock nut. If the height adjustment device has, for example, a foot, it can likewise be fixed in its end position by means of a lock nut.
The invention also relates to a threshold for a window or door, wherein the threshold separates an interior of a building from an exterior or two spaces, and the threshold defines the space between the bottom edge of the wing of the window or the door and the floor sill closed state in cooperation with at least one seal or a sealing arrangement seals, with an additional element as above, according to the invention described. Of course, the advantages of the invention are obtained only in cooperation with the threshold. Consequently, the considerations regarding the additional element are, of course, always to be understood in cooperation with the threshold.

The same mating interface is used as shown here. The interface S2 is formed of a lower leg 213 and an upper leg 24, which are interconnected by a connecting leg 25 which extends in the vertical direction. Seen laterally or in section, this results in a U-shaped receptacle 26 for insertion of a widening profile or a supplementary element 4. In the illustration, this supplementary element 4 with the mating interface, formed from the carrier 41 and the pin 5 - connected. This is followed by the supplementary element in the form of a grate holder. The conclusion forms a final profile 43, which rests for example on the finished floor. In the ground itself is in each case a height adjustment H1 - H3 provided for support both to the supplementary element 4 and to the additional element 2. This serves the exact alignment of the arrangement and in particular the determination of the same, in order to avoid a later slippage or dislocation.
Fig. 2 shows a sectional view of an additional element according to the invention. This is indicated schematically by the reference numeral 2 and an arrow. The interface S1 is also indicated schematically by an arrow. It is formed - as already mentioned - from the carrier 21 and the pin 22. The reference numeral 27 denotes a fixing groove for fixing a height adjustment H. In Fig. 1, the height adjustment H1 is inserted. On the side facing away from the threshold, the second interface S2 is indicated by an arrow. This consists of a lower leg 23 and an upper leg 24, which are connected to each other with a vertically extending connecting leg 25 to form a U-shaped receptacle 26. As can be seen, a molded part 3 is arranged on the additional element 2. In the illustration, this is designed as upwardly open U. It may be an additional profile, which is inserted precisely into the additional element 2. However, it may also be a directly molded element, which is formed as shown in the illustration or, for example, as a running rail for rollers. In this case, this molding 3 does not exceed the total height of the threshold 1, to ensure a barrier-free transition. Advantageously, the molded part 3 serves to form or receive a guide 31 for insect screen roller blinds, insect screen doors, sun blinds, awnings, shutters or the like. In Fig. 1, for example, an insect screen with its guide is indicated by the reference numeral 5. Of course, as already mentioned, this can also be a rail which, for example, can accommodate rolls of an insect screen door as a sliding door. In Fig. 1, the molded part 3 is fixed by means of a fastening screw 32. This is done regularly whenever, for example, special manufacturers provide their lower guide for the insect screen, the insect screen door, sun blinds, awnings, shutters or the like.
